Submit photos and essays up to 500 words through April 24, 2010, that document how you are saving energy and water in your home or business. Submissions can be entered in three categories: home, business or student. Student entries are based on energy and water conservation measures done at home and can only be submitted in one category (home OR student).
Online voting will begin in April. The contest will be judged on 50-percent popular vote (based on online voting) and 50-percent energy savings determined by a point system calculated by the Truckee Donner Public Utility District. Note: Only TDPUD utility customers are eligible to enter the contest.
Have fun with your entry! And please provide details like energy savings and how your project was started and finished.
